Carte Blanche, Episode one: For a fistfull of teeth

This walkthrough only gives the actions taken, and does not mention – most of the time – new items being added to the inventory, or the different questions/answers choices shown during conversations.
 

[Day 1]
Edgar starts off sitting in the train heading for Montreal (to his uncles appartement).
In the hallway, he meets the janitor Malaki (oh girl) telling him things straight (and more).
In the appartement, he reads the newspaper and finds a job add as PI-assistant.

Edgar meets up with Gaspard (his new boss) and Jeannine (his dear secretary). Edgar needs to respond to a few questions:

This ends the first day at work (?); Edgar gets a proper desk (?) and returns to the appartement (where he immediately falls asleep and dreams of dear Jeannine).

Note: there seems to be a bug whereby the cutscene in the Agency never gets triggered. This could be caused by the bug mentioned earlier, or the way you’ve gone through the conversations/actions. Above sequence seems to avoid this issue.

Edgar and McCullough finalise the day. A few days later Edgar is in the office, Jeannine tells him they got paid, and Edgar receives a telephone call (With apple sauce, bitte). Edgar can take the case, but he’ll “be needing balls of steel“.
